Pontian Hellenism in Chicago, with significant work by the Greek Research Center for Asia Minor and Pontus.

With the aim that the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus and Asia Minor remains in memory, Pontians in Chicago have been doing significant work for years and a great struggle through events, collaborations, and manuals given to schools in the USA.

George Mavropoulos, Director of the Greek Research Center for Asia Minor and Pontus, has been leading this effort since his early years in Chicago, with the help of those around him as well as volunteers.

He spoke to Livemedia in Chicago about this entire effort.
